A monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type a given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare.

The internet has proven that this is not true.

Welcome to my world. It's changed a lot in the last year, with more to come. This is a chronicle of those changes, some hard, some easy, mostly good. Here are my adventures of living with three dogs, my husband, my daughter and breast cancer.

And, of course, how the animals handle it all: Bridey, retired show beagle and diva extraordinaire; Karl, sycophant-but-loving German Shepher), and Queen Katie the grand matriarch of us all (shepherd/hound mix).

And if you don't enjoy, don't read.

May the gods walk with Phoebe and Paige, and help them heal. Come back to me when you can, Phoebles and Woo-Woo Girl.

Ya done good, Herman. I'm proud of you. Keep an eye on Torey for me. And Auggie. And your old nemesis Ivar.
